An important factor before makeup application would be to apply moisturizers. Moisturizers help smooth out the skin, giving an even, smooth canvas (your face) to work on. For some people, having dry skin can be problematic because depending on what kind of makeup you are applying for the day, can enhance your dry features on your skin. This can make your skin look very cake-y and can make your skin tone uneven. My favorite moisturizer to use would be Khiels’ brand. I use an oil free moisturizer because I have a combination of dry and oily skin. I don’t want to add to much moisturizer since my own skin gets pretty oily throughout the day. Khiels’ brand is very well known for their skincare line. According to the Khiels’ website, the “Ultra facial oil free gel cream is designed for oily and normal skin types. The website also states that it conditions skin for up to 24 hours, non-greasy, and has an instant cooling effect. This moisturizer can be applied morning, day, or night.
